'Full series' is a bit more difficult to quantify, maybe 10%? And usually not DC or Marvel lines.īut you've also got stuff like Hellboy which is all the Hellboy comics shoved into one series (about 100+ books) which actually contains lots of 1-5 book series. There's about 1200-1500 graphic novels and comics in total that I've been able to find, and I'm mostly just going by recommendations tab so far, I haven't yet resorted to direct searches. Comixology just feel incomplete and alienated by the parent company, in comparison to its other subsidiaries. I like Amazon and I enjoy nearly all Amazon products/services. I think the larger point is that it just feels like Amazon really isn’t treating comic books the best they could be. I’ll likely end up buying the $20 one because I desperately want to finish it, but ughhhhh. It seems like, at the very least, Comixology Unlimited could offer the twenty dollar black & white collection free (it’s not free, you’re paying for Unlimited), then maybe they could include links and samples to the colored books for marketing purposes, in case you wanted to own it. That’s one of the reasons I find this infuriating. The rest of the individual volumes are colored too. However, I was spoiled by the Volume 1 offered by Comixology Unlimited, which has been colored beautifully, and in its entirety. Which is great, all the original comics were black & white. The twenty dollar collection is black & white. “You can get the entire Bone series for $20.” Well, technically, yes… you can.
